Our show from NHRF 2024

Lord Frost was kind enough to record our act on the last day of NHRF this year. He actually touched up the video and edited it for us as well. Thank you Lord Frost!… peasant. Thank you to Tabytha Dakmor as well, for making sure no one knocked over Lord Frost’s camera.

Anyhoot, here it is!

The New Hampshire Renaissance Faire

Hey everyone!

Can you believe it? The New Hampshire Renaissance Faire is just around the corner! The Corr Thieves have been part of NHRF since the very beginning in 2005, and it’s like our home away from home. This year, the faire is celebrating its 20th anniversary – Huzzah!

What’s even cooler is that our official Ren Faire stage act began at NHRF in 2010, which means we’re celebrating our 15-year anniversary! Huzzah again!

Now, for those of you who might not know who we are or what we do, we’ve put together a little video to give you a taste of who we are. We hope you enjoy it!

And of course, we’d love to see you all at NHRF this year! If you want more information about the faire, just click the link below to be magically transported to their website.

Autumn Knights Renaissance Faire!

We’ve had a bit of a break from faire, but it’s time for one more show! Come see us at the Autumn Knights Renaissance Faire on October 21st! This new faire started last year at Winnekenni Castle in Haverhill, MA., but has moved to Ye Olde Commons in Charlton, MA. It’s new, small, and in need of patrons who want to come out and play! There will be music, us (of course… well one day anyway), and lots of knights beating each other up!!! Come check it out!

Maine Renaissance Faire!

WOW! It seemed like as soon as NHRF was done, we were performing at the Vermont Renaissance Faire, missed an update on that one, sorry about that. Now the Maine Renaissance Faire is this upcoming weekend! We may not be listed on their website, but we are on the schedule! We’ll be there both weekends, so please come and check out our show!

Maine Renaissance Faire: July 22nd & 23rd / 29th & 30th.

NHRF 2023

Well, NHRF has come and gone for another year, and we had a great time! A great, great, great, great…… great time! Anyhoot, we only recorded our act on a couple of the days and this little post has one of those recordings. My apologies for the different format and the little bit of wonkiness with the video in the beginning, it doesn’t last through the whole thing though, so that is good.

Thank you to everyone who came to our home faire and supported it and it’s awesome cause! You all kick arse! Huzzah!

The New Hampshire Renaissance Faire

OOPS! Totally forgot to post about us being at the New Hampshire Renaissance Faire (NHRF) this upcoming weekend and last. Anyhoot! Come and see us this weekend, at 1:30pm, at the Pub Stage (AKA The Grumpy Goblin). NHRF is our home faire and are always so excited to perform there. We hope to see many smiling faces at our show… and if you’re not smiling, maybe we can help with that.

Tickets are still for sale online and at the main gate.

Fights by Flanagan!

The Corr Thieves had the honor of being taught some awesome stage fighting techniques by Sarah Flanagan from Fights by Flanagan. Sarah is a certified teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors, a freelance fight director, and a coordinator with the National Stage Combat Workshop. It was an excellent experience!

We like to think that we do a pretty good job with our fight scenes on stage etc., but we certainly don’t know everything! When one of our members found the Society of American Fight Directors, we asked them if they had a representative in our area, and that’s when we gave Sarah a call. Thankfully, she was very willing and able to run a class for us, and it is our hope that we will be able to do more classes with her in the future.

After all, there is always something new to learn and or improve upon. Thank you again, Sarah! You kick arse!
